PF — Power failure indicator
PF is an informational code that just means the oven lost power at some point — a brownout, outage, surge, or someone flipped the breaker. It is not a failure of the oven itself.

How to fix it
- Press Cancel or Clear to dismiss the code.
- Reset the clock to the correct time.
- If PF won't clear, kill power at the breaker for 1 minute and restore.
- If PF keeps reappearing for no reason, the home supply may be unstable or the control's brownout circuit is failing — have an electrician check supply voltage stability.
Why it happens
Typical signs: Display shows PF, often after a storm or power blink · Clock is flashing or wrong · Any in-progress cook was cancelled
- Power outage or short interruption Utility power dropped long enough for the control to lose state.
- Voltage sag or surge A momentary brownout or spike that the control flagged as a power event.
- Breaker tripped or shut off Someone tripped the breaker feeding the oven, or it tripped on its own.
