F6 — Relay Fault

On Frigidaire microwaves, F6 indicates a microwave relay problem on the control board. It is not an AC line-voltage fault (that meaning belongs to other brands). The control board / relay needs service.

How to fix it

  1. Unplug for 5 minutes and retry.
  2. Measure the outlet voltage under load — should be 114–126 VAC.
  3. If voltage is low, address the circuit/breaker; do not assume the microwave is at fault.
  4. If voltage is fine and F6 persists, replace the control board.
