How to fix it

  1. Cut power.
  2. Unplug the lock motor at the EOC and measure motor resistance — open or near-zero means replace the motor.
  3. Inspect the harness between EOC and latch for damage.
  4. If motor and harness check out, replace the EOC — the lock drive circuit on the board is bad.
