What DEMO Means

Symptoms

  • DEMO or OFF showing on display

Some models toggle demo with a held-button sequence.

How to Fix It

  1. Look for door switch and a specific button combo in the owner's manual (often Lock + Freezer Down 3-5 seconds, or hold Alarm Reset).
  2. Try: press and hold Power Cool + Power Freeze for 5-10 seconds.
  3. Confirm DEMO disappears and compressor starts within a few minutes.
  4. If demo cannot be cleared by button combo, unplug for 5 minutes and retry on power-up.
