How to fix it

  1. Power off at the breaker.
  2. Pull the dishwasher forward to access the valve under the front kick panel.
  3. Disconnect the harness and test valve coil resistance with a multimeter (typical ~500-1500 ohms).
  4. Inspect the harness from the valve to the main control board for damage.
  5. Replace the water inlet valve if the coil reads open or shorted.
  6. If the valve and harness check good, replace the main control board.
