How to fix it

1. If a new garbage disposal was recently installed, verify the knockout plug was removed.
2. Remove the air gap cap on the sink top and clean any debris.
3. Disconnect the drain hose and check for kinks or clogs.
4. Power off and remove the filter and lower spray arm.
5. Access the drain pump and check the impeller for foreign objects.
6. Test the drain pump for resistance (~30-200 ohms) and replace if open.
7. Replace the drain pump if the impeller spins freely but no water moves when powered.
