How to fix it

  1. Power off at the breaker.
  2. Pull the dishwasher and access the drain pump.
  3. Disconnect the pump and test winding resistance — replace if open or shorted.
  4. Inspect the harness from drain pump to main control board.
  5. If pump and harness are good, replace the main control board.
