How to fix it

  1. Unplug the dryer.
  2. Inspect the thermistor wiring for any pinch or short to ground.
  3. Test thermistor resistance — replace if near 0Ω.
  4. Repair wiring and reassemble.
  5. Replace the ACU only if sensor and wiring test good.
