How to fix it

  1. Press Start/Pause to clear PF and resume the cycle.
  2. If it returns, unplug the dryer for 5 minutes and restore power.
  3. Inspect the power cord and outlet for scorch marks or looseness.
  4. Check the breaker — both legs of the 240V circuit must be live.
  5. If PF recurs without a known outage, test outlet voltage (should be 240V ±10%).
