How to fix it

  1. Power off at the breaker.
  2. Disconnect sensor and measure resistance — expect ~1080 ohms at room temp. Below ~900 ohms means shorted.
  3. Check the harness for pinch points behind the oven cavity.
  4. Replace sensor if shorted; repair harness if pinched.
  5. Replace control board if sensor and wiring are good.
