How to fix it

  1. Unplug refrigerator for 5 minutes to reset all boards.
  2. If CE returns, unplug again and remove rear access panel.
  3. Reseat all connectors on the main control board and inspect for burn marks.
  4. Open the upper door hinge cover and check the harness running from cabinet to door UI for pinch damage.
  5. If wiring is intact, swap or test the user interface board.
  6. Replace main control board if UI tests good.
