What TE Means
Generic temperature-sensor fault — the thermistor reading is out of valid range (open, shorted, or wildly drifting). Sensor cooking is disabled.

Plug loose or corroded.

How to Fix It
- Unplug 60 seconds, retest.
- Let the microwave cool fully before retesting.
- Measure thermistor resistance at room temperature; should be roughly 10K ohms.
- Inspect and reseat the connector.
- Replace thermistor if out of spec; if good, replace main PCB.
