Maytag Oven · Error code F3E0
What F3E0 Means
The oven temperature sensor (RTD) circuit is open. The control cannot read cavity temperature and shuts heating down.
Symptoms
- F3E0 on display
- Oven will not heat
- Code appears shortly after starting bake
Common Causes
The RTD probe has gone open-circuit (should read ~1080 ohms at room temp).
Wire to the sensor at the rear of the cavity is unplugged or chafed.
Control board sensor input is bad.
How to Fix It
- Disconnect power.
- Remove the rear access panel and locate the oven temp sensor harness.
- Unplug the sensor and measure resistance — should be ~1080 ohms at room temperature.
- If open or far out of spec, replace the temperature sensor.
- If sensor reads correctly, inspect the harness from sensor to EOC for breaks.
- If harness and sensor are good, replace the EOC.
