F3E1 — Exhaust Thermistor Out of Range
On 2015+ Cabrio-platform dryers, F3E1 reports that the exhaust thermistor is reading temperatures the control deems impossible (open, shorted, or wildly out of spec). The dryer disables heat.

How to fix it
- Pull the lint screen and clean it; clean the exhaust duct from dryer to outside hood.
- Power-cycle at the breaker for 5 minutes and try a Timed Dry.
- If F3E1 returns, unplug and locate the exhaust thermistor on the blower housing.
- Measure thermistor resistance at room temp — should be roughly 10,000 ohms.
- Inspect the harness from thermistor to main control for damage.
- Replace the thermistor first; if the code returns with a new sensor and verified harness, replace the main control board.
