F6E1 — Front Display to Main Power Board Communication Failure

Communication failure between the front display control board and the main power relay board. The console may light but cycles will not start.

How to fix it

  1. Unplug for at least 5 minutes (not just breaker), then power back on and try a Timed Dry.
  2. If F6E1 returns, open the console and reseat the harness between the display board and the main control.
  3. Inspect both connectors for bent pins or corrosion.
  4. Replace the user interface board first.
  5. If the code persists, replace the main control board.
