F6E3 — Communication Bus Fault
Continuous loss of communication between the main control and user interface — the control eventually gives up and posts F6E3. Most often a wiring/connector problem.

How to fix it
- Unplug for 5 minutes, restore, run Timed Dry.
- If code returns, inspect and reseat all connectors between the user interface and main control board.
- Replace the comm harness if visibly damaged.
- Swap the user interface board; if still failing, swap the main control board.
Why it happens
Typical signs: F6E3 on display · Display freezes mid-cycle · Random shutdowns · Cycle won't start at all
- Damaged comm harness Wires broken inside the cable or burnt connector pins.
- Static / surge damage to comm chips Power-line event damaged the comm transceiver on either board.
- Failed UI or main control Hardware failure on one of the two boards.
