How to fix it

  1. Power-cycle at the breaker for 5 minutes; restore and try a Timed Dry.
  2. If code persists, unplug the dryer, open the console, and reseat the UI-to-main-board harness.
  3. Replace the user interface control board.
  4. If still posting an F7x code after a new UI, replace the main control board.

Why it happens

Typical signs: F72, F73, F74, F75, F76, F77, or F78 on display · Console unresponsive or partly working · Cycle won't start
