Bosch Dishwasher E14 — Flow meter / impeller fault

Bosch Dishwasher · Error code E14

What E14 Means

The flow meter (reed/Hall sensor on a small impeller) is not pulsing as water enters. The board cannot measure how much water is added.

Symptoms

  • Cycle stops shortly after start
  • Fill cycle abnormally short or long
  • E14 returns intermittently

Common Causes

1
Magnetic impeller stuck

Debris or scale locking the impeller in the flow meter.

2
Failed Hall sensor

Sensor PCB on the flow meter has died.

3
Harness disconnected

Connector to flow meter loose after recent service.

4
Low flow rate

Pressure so low that the impeller doesn't reliably spin.

How to Fix It

  1. Shut off water and disconnect the inlet hose.
  2. Inspect the AquaStop / flow meter assembly for visible debris.
  3. Reseat the harness connector to the flow meter.
  4. Test water pressure at the supply (should be 20-120 psi).
  5. If the impeller is stuck or sensor dead, replace the AquaStop inlet hose assembly.
