Bosch Dishwasher E14 — Flow meter / impeller fault
Bosch Dishwasher · Error code E14
What E14 Means
The flow meter (reed/Hall sensor on a small impeller) is not pulsing as water enters. The board cannot measure how much water is added.
Symptoms
- Cycle stops shortly after start
- Fill cycle abnormally short or long
- E14 returns intermittently
Common Causes
Debris or scale locking the impeller in the flow meter.
Sensor PCB on the flow meter has died.
Connector to flow meter loose after recent service.
Pressure so low that the impeller doesn't reliably spin.
How to Fix It
- Shut off water and disconnect the inlet hose.
- Inspect the AquaStop / flow meter assembly for visible debris.
- Reseat the harness connector to the flow meter.
- Test water pressure at the supply (should be 20-120 psi).
- If the impeller is stuck or sensor dead, replace the AquaStop inlet hose assembly.
