How to fix it
- Unplug refrigerator.
- Remove freezer back panel and inspect for ice on the fan and coil.
- Force a manual defrost if iced over and address the defrost root cause.
- Spin fan blade — should be free.
- Test fan motor voltage; replace fan if voltage is present but motor is silent.
- Replace main board if no voltage.
