E31 — Pressure sensor communication failure
The main control isn't getting valid signal from the analog pressure (water level) sensor. The washer can't safely fill without knowing the level.

How to fix it
- Unplug the washer for 5 minutes to reset the control.
- Open the top panel and locate the pressure sensor (small box on the rear panel).
- Reseat both connectors at the sensor and the control board.
- Inspect the harness for visible damage.
- Substitute a known-good pressure sensor.
- If the code persists, replace the main control board.
