What E52 Means

The motor's tachometer (speed sensor) isn't sending valid pulses, so the control can't regulate spin speed.

Symptoms

How to Fix It

  1. Unplug and tip the washer back.
  2. Reseat the small tach connector at the rear of the motor.
  3. Measure tach coil resistance — typically 60 to 150 ohms.
  4. Replace the motor if the tach coil is open.
  5. Replace the motor control board if tach reads fine but code returns.
