E66 — Heating element relay failure (steam/heated wash models)
On models with an internal water heater, the main board detected the heater relay stuck or the heater drawing wrong current. The washer disables heating to prevent damage.

How to fix it
- Unplug and access the heating element (usually at the bottom rear of the tub).
- Measure heater resistance — open or shorted means replace.
- Test thermistor resistance against the service sheet temperature curve.
- If element and thermistor are fine, replace the main control board (relay welded).
