E90 — User interface to main control communication error

How to fix it

  1. Unplug for 5 minutes.
  2. Open the top panel and reseat the ribbon cable between UI and main board.
  3. Look for corrosion or moisture on either board.
  4. Substitute the UI board first (cheaper and more common failure).
  5. Replace the main control board if E90 persists.
