Hot Water On Demand Disabled — Keurig K-Elite Hot Water Disabled — child lock or settings

How to fix it

  1. Confirm the brewer is powered on and ready (no Not Ready message)
  2. Press MENU on K-Elite, scroll to Hot Water On Demand, and enable
  3. Place a mug on the drip tray and press Hot Water — it requires a mug be in place
  4. Select a cup size, then press Hot Water within 10 seconds

Why it happens

Typical signs: Hot Water button does nothing · Hot Water button flashes briefly then stops · Other brew functions work normally

  • Hot Water On Demand turned off in menu Default safety setting on some K-Elite units
  • Brewer in Auto Off / Not Ready state Function locked until heater is ready
