What Hot Water On Demand Disabled Means
K-Elite's Hot Water On Demand button has been disabled in settings, often as a child-safety measure, or the brewer is in a state that locks out the function.
Symptoms
- Hot Water button does nothing
- Hot Water button flashes briefly then stops
- Other brew functions work normally

How to Fix It
- Confirm the brewer is powered on and ready (no Not Ready message)
- Press MENU on K-Elite, scroll to Hot Water On Demand, and enable
- Place a mug on the drip tray and press Hot Water — it requires a mug be in place
- Select a cup size, then press Hot Water within 10 seconds
