How to fix it
- Confirm the brewer is powered on and ready (no Not Ready message)
- Press MENU on K-Elite, scroll to Hot Water On Demand, and enable
- Place a mug on the drip tray and press Hot Water — it requires a mug be in place
- Select a cup size, then press Hot Water within 10 seconds
Why it happens
Typical signs: Hot Water button does nothing · Hot Water button flashes briefly then stops · Other brew functions work normally
