How to fix it

  1. Cancel cycle, open door, and reorganize dishes so both spray arms spin freely.
  2. Spin each spray arm by hand — should turn easily without scraping.
  3. Remove the lower arm and filter; clear any debris from the sump and diverter inlet.
  4. Run a short cycle and listen at the base — diverter should click between arms.
  5. If nE persists, pull the kick plate and reseat the vario motor harness.
  6. Replace the vario / diverter motor if it doesn't actuate.
  7. Inspect for cracks at the spray arm hubs that would cause wobble.
