How to fix it

  1. Power down for 60 seconds and retry.
  2. Disconnect power, unplug the steam thermistor, and measure resistance. Short = replace.
  3. Inspect the harness for melted insulation; replace pigtail if damaged.
  4. Dry any wet connector and verify the steam generator seals are not leaking.
  5. If sensor checks good when isolated but F22 persists, replace the main control board.
