F27 — Cooling fan stalled during self-clean

The cooling fan (which protects the controls during self-clean) is not detected running for more than one minute, so the control aborts the cycle and locks out further heat until cleared.

How to fix it

  1. Let the oven cool fully — the cavity can stay over 500°F well after F27 trips.
  2. Power off at the breaker for 60 seconds.
  3. Pull the top control panel/back panel and locate the cooling fan; verify the blade spins freely with no obstructions.
  4. Reseat the fan harness at the fan and at the main PCB.
  5. With power restored and the oven calling for the fan, measure voltage at the fan plug; if voltage is present and the fan does not run, replace the cooling fan motor.
  6. If no voltage at the fan plug, replace the main control board.
