How to fix it
- Confirm the under-sink shut-off valve is fully open and the line isn't kinked.
- Disconnect the supply line at the inlet valve (with the shut-off closed) and check the screen for debris; clean it.
- Open the shut-off briefly into a bucket to verify good flow and pressure.
- If supply is good, test the inlet valve solenoid with a multimeter — typical reading 500-1500 ohms.
- Replace the inlet valve if open/shorted.
- If the valve is good but F6E1 returns, suspect the flow meter on the fill assembly.
