F7E2 — Wash Motor (Circulation Pump) Failure

The main circulation pump motor either won't spin, is drawing wrong current, or its tachometer feedback is missing. No or weak wash spray.

How to fix it

  1. Power off at the breaker.
  2. Remove the spray arms, filters, and sump cover; inspect the pump impeller through the sump opening.
  3. Clear any debris from the impeller area and rotate it by hand — it should spin freely.
  4. Pull the kickplate and inspect the circulation pump harness for burn marks or loose connectors.
  5. If the pump won't run in Service Diagnostics and wiring is good, replace the circulation pump motor (heavier job — usually pull the unit out).
  6. After repair, verify both spray arms produce strong flow on a Normal cycle.
