How to fix it

  1. Unplug the microwave (or trip the breaker) for 5 minutes to reset the control.
  2. Restore power and try a 30-second cook test.
  3. If the code returns, unplug and access the control board (over-the-range models: remove grille and lower the unit).
  4. Reseat all ribbon cables and wire harnesses on the ACU.
  5. Inspect the board for burn marks, swollen capacitors, or corrosion.
  6. If physical damage is present or the code persists after reseat, replace the main control board.
  7. After replacement, run a no-load test cycle on a cup of water.
