How to fix it

  1. Press Cancel/Off to clear the PF code.
  2. Set the clock as you normally would.
  3. If PF returns repeatedly without a known outage, check the outlet voltage with a multimeter.
  4. Inspect the power cord and outlet for damage or looseness.
  5. If on a GFCI or AFCI outlet, test the outlet for nuisance tripping.
  6. If the issue is frequent, have an electrician check the circuit.
