How to fix it

  1. Unplug 5 minutes and restore power.
  2. If CF returns, access the main control (rear top cover).
  3. Reseat the UI ribbon/connector at the main board.
  4. Inspect the door hinge harness pass-through for damage.
  5. Replace UI board first (less expensive); if no change, replace main control.
