How to fix it

  1. Identify which unit in the cascade is faulting (check each display).
  2. Treat that unit as a single-unit E003: verify gas, clean flame rod, check igniter.
  3. Inspect cascade communication cables between units.
  4. Reset the cascade after correcting the underlying fault.
