How to fix it

  1. Power off at the breaker for 5 minutes and restart — clears transient faults.
  2. Measure outlet voltage with a multimeter under load — should be 114–126V (US).
  3. Move any other heavy appliances off the dishwasher circuit and retry.
  4. Have an electrician check the outlet and breaker for loose connections if voltage is unstable.
  5. If voltage is solid and code persists, replace the main control board.
