C-E1 — Door / Interlock Switch Fault

The control sees inconsistent signals from the door interlock switches (monitor + primary + secondary). The microwave will not start as a safety lockout.

How to fix it

  1. Unplug the microwave and discharge the high-voltage capacitor before working near the door switches.
  2. Open the control housing and locate the 3 door interlock switches.
  3. Operate the door by hand and listen for all switches clicking; visually verify the latch hits each plunger.
  4. Test each switch with a multimeter for proper continuity change (NO/NC) when actuated.
  5. Replace any switch that fails the continuity test (OEM equivalent).
  6. Realign door/latch board if door has sagged.
