-dE- — Flex Duo Divider Not Installed

On a Flex Duo / Dual Cook range or oven, the Smart Divider is missing or not seated correctly while Twin Mode (two-cavity) cooking is selected.

How to fix it

  1. Open the oven and insert the Smart Divider with tabs fully engaged.
  2. Close the door and restart the cycle.
  3. If the code persists with the divider installed, remove and reseat it firmly.
  4. Inspect the divider and the sensor area for debris.
  5. If the code still won't clear, the divider sensor/switch needs replacement (service call).

Why it happens

Typical signs: -dE- (or dE) flashes when starting Twin Mode · Oven won't begin the cycle · Code clears the instant the divider is seated

  • Divider not installed User selected Twin Mode without inserting the divider.
  • Divider partially seated Tabs not fully engaged in the cavity slots.
  • Failed divider sensor switch Switch in the cavity wall doesn't see the divider even when installed.
