How to fix it
- Open door, clear any laundry from the seal/boot, and firmly push the door shut until you hear it click.
- Inspect the door strike (the metal/plastic hook on the door) for wear or play.
- Power-cycle the washer at the breaker for 60 seconds.
- If the code returns with no obstruction, replace the door lock assembly.
- If a new lock doesn't fix it, suspect the main control PCB.
