How to fix it

  1. Let the cycle complete its suds-reduction routine — do not add more cycles.
  2. Run an empty Rinse+Spin (or Self Clean / Eco Drum Clean) with no detergent.
  3. Switch to HE-rated detergent and use 1-2 tablespoons for normal loads.
  4. Clean the debris filter behind the lower front access panel.
  5. If suds errors persist with HE detergent at low dose, inspect the drain hose for a partial clog or high-loop kink.

Typical signs: Cycle takes far longer than usual · Drum spins slowly or pauses repeatedly · Visible foam in the drum or door glass

  • Non-HE detergent used Standard detergent foams excessively in low-water HE washers.
