SUDS — / SUD — Excessive suds detected

How to fix it
- Let the cycle complete its suds-reduction routine — do not add more cycles.
- Run an empty Rinse+Spin (or Self Clean / Eco Drum Clean) with no detergent.
- Switch to HE-rated detergent and use 1-2 tablespoons for normal loads.
- Clean the debris filter behind the lower front access panel.
- If suds errors persist with HE detergent at low dose, inspect the drain hose for a partial clog or high-loop kink.
Why it happens
Typical signs: Cycle takes far longer than usual · Drum spins slowly or pauses repeatedly · Visible foam in the drum or door glass
- Non-HE detergent used Standard detergent foams excessively in low-water HE washers.
- Too much detergent Even HE detergent overdosed creates persistent suds, especially with soft water.
- Drain restriction Partial clog leaves suds in the tub between drains.
