How to fix it

  1. Press Cancel, then close the door firmly and press Start within 4 seconds.
  2. Inspect the door latch hook and the strike on the tub for damage or bending.
  3. Remove the inner door panel and locate the door latch assembly at the top of the door.
  4. Test the door switch with a multimeter — should show continuity when latched.
  5. Replace the door latch assembly if the switch fails the continuity test.
