How to fix it
- Power off at the breaker.
- Pull the toe-kick and locate the drain pump on the side of the sump (smaller of the two pumps).
- Unplug the harness and inspect the connector for corrosion; reseat firmly.
- Measure resistance across the pump terminals — typically ~20–40 ohms. Open circuit = replace pump.
- If pump tests good, replace the control board.
