How to fix it

  1. Power down at the breaker for 1 minute.
  2. Use a standard 3.0–3.5 oz microwave popcorn bag and place it flat in the center of the turntable.
  3. Clean the cavity (especially the top vent area) and let it cool fully before retrying.
  4. If AccuPop Fail returns on multiple cycles, replace the AccuPop / humidity sensor per the model's tech sheet.
  5. Use manual time-cook for popcorn until the sensor is replaced.

Why it happens

  • Wrong popcorn bag size for the cycle AccuPop expects a standard bag — mini bags or jumbo bags can throw it off.
  • Dirty / greasy AccuPop sensor The sensor sits in the steam path and fouls over time.
  • Failed AccuPop sensor Same family as the humidity sensor; replace if cleaning doesn't help.
