How to fix it

  1. Unplug the dryer.
  2. Access the heater box at the back of the cabinet.
  3. Measure the heating element for continuity (electric — should be ~10-15Ω).
  4. Measure the inlet thermistor — should read ~10kΩ at room temp.
  5. Inspect all harness connections at the heater box.
  6. Replace failed component: thermistor, heating element, or (gas) igniter/coils.
  7. Clear the code and run a test cycle.
