What F24 Means

The moisture sensor circuit (two metal strips inside the drum) is reading open. Auto-dry cycles cannot determine when laundry is dry.

Symptoms

How to Fix It

  1. Open the door and locate the two metal strips inside the drum opening.
  2. Clean both strips with rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth.
  3. Run a sensor cycle to see if F24 clears.
  4. If still failing, unplug and access the front bulkhead to inspect the sensor wires.
  5. Reseat the moisture sensor connector.
  6. Replace the moisture sensor if continuity is open.
