How to fix it
- IMMEDIATELY shut off power at the breaker — don't just press cancel.
- Allow oven to cool fully before doing anything else.
- Do NOT use the oven until repaired — welded relays can re-ignite the elements without warning.
- Diagnose with a meter: with breaker on but oven off, the elements should have no voltage; if they do, the control has a welded relay.
- Test temperature sensor resistance at room temp (~1080 ohms).
- Replace control board (most likely) and/or temperature sensor.
