What Cd Means

Not a fault. Cd / 'Clean' lights at the end of a successful cycle to indicate dishes are done. Many users mistake it for an error code.

Symptoms

  • 'Clean' lit on the panel
  • Cycle just finished
  • No buttons unresponsive — door simply hasn't been opened yet

Common Causes

Normal end-of-cycle indicator

Designed behavior — clears when door opens.

How to Fix It

  1. Open the door — indicator should clear on the next cycle start.
  2. If the light won't clear after multiple cycles, power-cycle at the breaker for 5 minutes.
  3. If it persists, the UI board may need replacement.
