What HS Means

The high-limit or in-tub temperature sensor circuit is open or out of range. The dishwasher cannot safely control heating, so heated dry and high-temp wash are disabled and the cycle may abort.

  5. If open, replace the thermistor.
  6. Inspect and test the high-limit thermostat if present; replace if open.
  7. If sensor and high-limit test good, replace the main control board.
