How to fix it

  1. Unplug refrigerator.
  2. Remove freezer back panel.
  3. Inspect fan blade for ice and clear if needed.
  4. Spin blade by hand — should turn freely.
  5. Reseat fan harness.
  6. Test motor voltage — if voltage is present and motor doesn't spin, replace the fan motor.
  7. If no voltage, replace the main control board.
