How to fix it

  1. Open the dispenser, scrape out any caked detergent, and clean with hot water.
  2. Reload with fresh detergent (pods preferred over powder for reliability).
  3. Re-rack so no large items block the dispenser door.
  4. If the door still won't open, remove the inner door panel and inspect the dispenser solenoid and linkage.
