How to fix it

  1. Move robot and dock to a room-temperature location (60-80°F / 15-27°C).
  2. Let robot sit unplugged for 30 minutes to normalize temperature.
  3. Clean all charge contacts.
  4. Place on dock and wait 6+ hours.
  5. If error returns, replace the battery first (cheaper fix).
  6. If error persists with a new battery, the charging circuit on the main board has failed — replace robot or contact iRobot support.
