How to fix it

  1. Plug the Home Base back in if unplugged, in its normal location.
  2. Carry robot back to the dock and manually place it on the contacts to charge.
  3. Keep dock in a fixed permanent location with clear surroundings.
  4. Wipe the IR window on the front of the bumper.
  5. Leave interior doors open during scheduled runs.

Why it happens

Typical signs: 'Error 19' voice prompt · Robot stops with low battery in middle of floor · Cycle ends without docking

  • Dock moved during cleaning Home Base was relocated so its position no longer matches the map.
  • Path to dock blocked Doors closed, obstacles, or stairs between robot and dock.
  • Dock unplugged No IR signal from dock for robot to locate it.
  • Dirty IR receiver on robot Front bumper IR window obstructed.
